Interactive Courtyard House Visualisation

This interactive courtyard house visualisation presents a modern residential concept centred on private outdoor living. Viewers can rotate the model, switch between night and daylight, compare flat and sloping roof forms, and explore alternative wall colours. The design includes an entrance, kitchen, bathroom, landscaped garden and swimming pool, allowing the spatial arrangement to be understood as a complete home rather than a static image. Smooth materials, realistic lighting and placed planting create a convincing property presentation. Built for real estate marketing and design review, the experience helps clients examine options, communicate feedback and understand the proposed development before construction begins.

Parametric Glass Flame Sculpture

This interactive glass sculpture study explores form, transparency and reflected light through a modelled architectural object. A slender vertical profile is shaped by shallow ridges and a controlled spiral, creating changing highlights as the viewer rotates the piece. The reduced width and restrained twist keep the silhouette elegant while preserving enough surface variation to reveal the material’s depth. Realistic refraction, polished edges and a neutral presentation environment allow the glass to remain the focus. The project demonstrates how interactive three dimensional visualisation can help artists, fabricators and clients inspect proportions, surface treatment and visual character before committing to physical production.

Cross Twisted Tape Heat Exchanger Study

This engineering study assessed heat transfer enhancement in a counter flow double pipe heat exchanger using passive flow inserts. A Cross Twisted Tape with V cuts was designed to generate swirl, increase turbulence and reduce thermal boundary layer resistance. Water tests covered Reynolds numbers from 500 to 2,000, with performance compared against conventional twisted tape inserts. The numerical work used ANSYS Fluent for geometry preparation, meshing, simulation and post processing, alongside experimental investigation. Results showed an improvement of up to 50 per cent in Nusselt number while maintaining thermal performance, demonstrating the insert’s potential for more efficient heat exchanger design.
